What are your first impressions?
Since I am looking at the website in the midst of Coronavirus lockdown, the opening liens made me a bit worried about the hardships of the product might currently being facing as I was assuming it would be in-person meetups. Scrolling down past the map it becomes more clear that it's all virtual connections via video chat.
What was your journey navigating the site like? Does the flow make sense?
- Moving down the homepage, the second how it works statement doesn't quite feel right to me. I'm not quite sure if the purpose is for business networking, or an opportunity for remote workers to meet people and feel like they aren't trapped at home all day but not talk about work so much, or is it all of the above?
- Looking at the map, I wasn't expecting a pin to be on Boise, Idaho; where I am at. Yay!
- Q3: Who do you believe the target audience is?
Do you find the product desirable?
An acquaintance of mine runs a networking group here in Boise, Idaho area. He shared an article on LinkedIn about how Coronavirus times are putting networking in trouble. He said his particular business is actually seeing a growth in subscribers and there are weekly Zoom get-togethers. He has also been working on his app to help facilitate. After all, some people have to network as a part of their job (outside salesmen). I hope you are also experiencing this type of buzz! Virtual networking was already the future regardless.
- Q5: What would you change about the website?
